Long abandoned, and in a wretched state, the Motel EHOS has a dark history connected to the Yugoslav Wars. During the conflict, the motel was taken over by those loyal to Serbian/Bosnian Serb forces and used as a meeting place for the local crisis committee, whose task, among other things, included ‘dealing’ with the community’s non-Serb population. More history surrounding the Motel EHOS.
