The Hotel Igman was constructed in preparation for the 1984 Winter Olympics, which were hosted by the nearby city of Sarajevo. The six-storey, 162-room property was totally destroyed when its fate became intertwined with events that took place during the Bosnian War (1992-1995). More history attached to the Hotel Igman.
