Former name: Monument to the Fallen in the Fight Against Fascism and Capitalism

Genre: War memorial, Socialist monument, former Eastern Bloc

The monument is dedicated to those who perished in the struggle again fascism in the Burgas region. The monolith stone ring is split by two bronze figures that symbolise achieving freedom by the breaking of chains. More information about Bulgaria’s communist-era monuments and memorials.
