RT-32, one of three radio telescopes at the Soviet-era radio astronomy centre known as Zvaigznīte, meaning “Little Star”. Now renamed Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Centre, the base was top secret during Soviet times and was used by the USSR to intercept Western Europe (NATO) communications during the Cold War.
