Arriving back in Kathmandu from the UK the temperature is noticeably different from 3 weeks ago. A sign of how the temperature is likely to rise over the coming months! As with the UK, the days are also getting longer. On my first 6.45am departure from Barnet to Dorking it was dark but by the time my final one came around two and half weeks later it was light at that time. Equally, arriving back here it’s now only getting dark at 6.30pm rather than an hour earlier. The days will never become as long as those in the UK though. It was lovely to catch up with everyone in the UK but I was happy to land back in Kathmandu and, of course, see Mark who had got me so worried with his brush with AMS. Fully recovered now though and gearing up for the next trek! Things are moving on in our apartment block too and we have 3 new sets of neighbours who I’ve yet to meet. Blog posts have been rather sparse recently but this is the beginning of a new resolution to keep up to date with posts!
