Đuro Đaković was a Yugoslav revolutionary and activist who went on to become one of the founding members of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia in BiH. He was arrested and executed in 1929 for opposing the formation of a single Yugoslav nation, which was spearheaded by King Alexander I of the Kingdom of Serbia and existed for a short period between January 1929 and September 1931.
